I loved the chicken ceasar salad with salmon. Maybe the best I ever had. The dressing was mixed with the salad, which is the proper way to serbe ceasar salad. I just tasted the apple pie ice cream and it was delicious.

The Blue Water Cafe has a really expansive menu. There is a breakfast/brunch menu from 8am-12pm and a very different lunch/dinner menu from 12pm-Closing Time. The lunch/dinner menu is geared much more towards sandwiches and main courses. The food is really good. The servers are friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly.

Had the best brunch here!!! The crab cake Benedict was delicious. The crab was fresh and the potatoes were perfectly fried and tasty. The lobster and cheese omelette was just okay. The ambience in the outdoor seating area was great and service was friendly.

Lobster bisque was soooo good the chowder was really good but we personally prefer other. Can't go wrong with the steamed clams and the picnic platter was refreshing. I got the crabs cakes and subbed in garlic mashed over lobster mashed. All very foot lots of meat. My boyfriend got the cowboy steak special. He enjoyed it as well. The staff is very friendly and works their butts off. The atmosphere is very laid back and clean. We went on a beautiful sunset evening. Wed go back and recommend for sure. The owner definitely cares about his business.

Casual BYOB grill on the island with good seafood, relaxed vibes, and an extensive sandwich menu. Pros: Food is very tasty (e.g., burrata appetizer, mango shrimp salad), servers are friendly, prices are reasonable for LBI, and portions are comparatively big (e.g., my piece of snapper was at least 12 oz maybe more) Cons: Depending on where you sit you’re kind of close to the blvd, my wife thought her oysters could have been shucked more cleanly

This is my favorite restaurant in LBI. The white wine steamed mussels and steamed clams are bomb! The sauce is so good with breads. We also love the fried oysters, fried calamari and chowder. Portion is generous compared with the other ones nearby. Really friendly service. No beers though. BYOB! Walks in only.

This place has the perfect atmosphere and decor for the NJ summer down the shore! If temperature permits, grab a seat in the covered outdoor dining area among the tastefully landscaped planter boxes, in order to get the full effect. The menu is eclectic enough for any taste. My brunch selection was a Greek omelet, which was perfect! Even the crispy, deep-fried potatoes were a treat. The short stack of pancakes was too much to finish. The cakes were fluffy but a little dense in the middle. Bottom line- Blue Water Cafe is definitely worth a try on LBI!

Everything we had was really good. We shared a wedge salad which was plentiful, light, crunchy and refreshing. The blue cheese dressing was the perfect amount and the bacon was cooked perfectly. Then we got the crab dip which was really good. The special of the night was a zucchini boat stuffed with crab, scallop, and shrimp served over mashed potatoes- Chefs Kiss it was delicious. Another delicious dish we got was the penne with shrimp, scallops, and crab in a vodka sauce. To finish off the night we ordered Gelato which was really good. The service was great especially our waitress and even the manager stopped by to speak with us. I highly recommend.
